Our Mission
Action For Safe Schools exists for one purpose: to use technology to eliminate school shootings from our schools, our society, and from the fears living in the hearts of parents and children across America.
We are not waiting for legislation. We are not waiting for consensus. We have built the technology, proven it in real schools with real teachers and real first responders, and we are deploying it now.
Our platform, Safe Schoolz, is the only system in existence that instantly connects every classroom, every administrator, every SRO, and every 911 call center the moment a threat is detected — with live bidirectional video, automatic conference calls, and real-time situational awareness across the entire campus. No other platform does this. None.
A completed two-year pilot program in Banning, California — with the approval of the California Teachers Association — proved that this works in the real world. Our next pilot is underway with in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Banning, California — Completed — A two-year pilot program with full California Teachers Association approval. The union representative who attended the first demonstration as a skeptic became a program supporter by the end of that meeting.
Los Angeles Unified School District — In progress — Active pilot development with LAUSD, the second largest school district in the United States.
Who we are
Action For Safe Schools Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to deploy SafeSchoolz — a proven school safety platform — in schools across America.
We are not a think tank. We are not an advocacy group waiting for someone else to act. We have built the technology, run the pilots, earned the union approvals, and we are deploying in schools right now.
We believe that the question is not whether technology can protect our children. It already can. The question is how fast we can get it into every school in America. That is the only question we are working on.
Team member — Eileen Kaplan — Child Safety Advocate and Educator. Eileen brings years of classroom experience and a lifelong commitment to ensuring every teacher has the tools they need to keep their students safe. Her work with Action For Safe Schools is driven by a simple conviction: no child should be afraid to go to school, and no teacher should face a crisis without the backup they deserve.
